Your teacher

Yogacharya P R Mohanan started his yoga life in 1981 guided by his uncle, Swami Gaudapadananda Puri, who is an Indian holy man and director of the Vivekananda Yoga Vedanta Ashram Monastery in Kerala, India.

He then went on to teach in a popular resort in Varkala and later extended his knowledge and understanding of the yogic philosophy in the Vivekananda Yoga Vedantha Ashram Monastery before teaching in the Sivananda Yoga Centre in Trivandrum, Kerala, India for 11 years as well as in classes at various ayurvedic resorts.

He is qualified to teach many different yoga systems. He passed the Yoga Teachers’ Training course - and the Advanced Yoga Teachers’ Training course.
He also qualified at Yoga Vedanta in Divine Life Society in Rishikesh, the Yoga Therapy course at VK Yoga in Banglore and Yoga Instructors course at Vivekananda Kendra in Kanya Kumari, Southern India.
